Parent - Teacher Consultations
can be arranged. Parents are encouraged to mention to the teacher regarding any questions or concerns regarding a student's progress, lesson time, and practice time and/or theory assignment.

We hope to make each students’ experience a very positive and productive one, and will do everything we can to address concerns as they arise
PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT AND INTEREST
This is necessary to encourage your child’s attitude towards music and music lessons.
Children and beginners especially need active supervision and help at each practice session.
PRACTICE
Lesson progress and improvement in musical ability depends on consistent daily practice.
Parents and students share the responsibility to ensure that good study habits are developed and maintained. Students should come to each lesson prepared to demonstrate significant improvement in each of the pieces, which have been assigned. Written assignments should also be completed.
WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS
Students who withdraw before the third lesson will be charged for the lessons attended plus one, plus a $25 processing charge. As of the third lesson no refunds, credits, term withdrawals or student transfers will be allowed. To withdraw, students must:
- Submit a written withdrawal request to administration at 88keys.ca immediately. The date on which the written withdrawal request is received is considered the official withdrawal date.
- Informing an instructor of a decision to withdraw does not constitute being withdrawn.
- Exceptional requests (e.g. prolonged illness) will be reviewed by the Director. Students should be prepared to provide adequate documentation to support an exceptional request.
- A $25 processing charge will be levied against all withdrawal requests.
Allow up to 15 business days to receive a refund.
