TOYS I MAKE, TRIPS I TAKE
Think of it like taking a course inside a child's imagination. We'll use the theme of a toy shop to make our pretend creations, using rhythm and songs with every imaginary saw, hammer, and nail. The result is building the preschooler's sense of a sequence of events, which is good for storytelling, as well as making his ideas a reality. FAQ
Q: What's the research behind Kindermusik?
A: Our program is built on decades of scientifically-based research about how children learn most effectively!
The research is clear: music enhances early literacy and cognitive development, strengthening crucial brain pathways young children need to succeed in school. With songs, rhymes, stories and movement activities, the curriculum develops phonological awareness, auditory processing, and verbal memory skills. It also improves vocabulary acquisition and crucial listening skills. Mathematics skills are developed with steady beat, sound pattern recognition, and explorations of rhythm and tempo. Kindermusik students showed significant gains in their abstract reasoning and spatial/temporal reasoning skills. Students also show significant growth in self-control skills!

A:Since 2001 over 5,000 students have taken Kindermusik classes at our 2 different locations, more than at any other studio in York Region or Toronto. We started as a very small space in the library but have grown to become the largest provider of Kindermusik in the Greater Toronto area.
We do not believe we are the best because we’re the biggest. Instead, we believe we’re the biggest because families think we are the best.
As a parent we realize you have a choice between several different music schools. All studios are not the same. We constantly renovate and improve our facilities and provide ongoing training to our educators to ensure we are always providing our families with the best experience possible.
Today, as in 2001, there are several different studios to choose from. We invite you to compare all of the features and options to see why 88 Keys has been chosen more than any other music school for early childhood music. To view a studio comparison checklist click here.
